Last night we had with the rose, Emma Rose that is. Tomorrow morning she'll leave for Kuwait and we wouldn't be seeing her for a long time. Or maybe at least two years. But come on, it IS long. We'll surely miss her. She's been with us since I could remember. Or at least when I joined COSCA as a student volunteer, she was already there. She made it easy/or hard for us volunteers to make it through every activity assigned to us by our formator or other coordinators, but nonetheless, she made all the activities fun. More importantly, she was there, to help, and to give support (and criticisms for that matter). Now, she'll be gone for a long time.

So to celebrate her last day here in the country, we've had a small salu-salo at her house with her family and friends. Us ofcourse, and her other friends. Many people from COSCA whom she became close to were there, Kuya Gelo, Faith, Leah, Me, Danica and Shem. It was a fun night. She also had other things to pack and as much as we want to help out, we can't. she was already too stressed out and her family's constant teasing doesn't help out. 'Twas all in good taste.
We've had a blast. I sure do hope Ate Ems did as well. This will be a huge turning point in her life and we're all hoping for the best. A few hours from now, her plane will leave... to bring her to greener pastures (or should I say dryer lands with lots of oil and high value currency).
