Yeah, it's sad I didn't get to see the Wildcard show last night but I'm so happy because the event was so worth it. The whole day I was at the NBC Tent setting up wireless connection for the Grand Product Launch held last night. It was a long and tiring day.
Anyway, the event was awesome. It was the first big event I attended for the work I do. I was there the entire day during the set-up and rehearsals but still, the show didn't fail to impress me. The place, the ambiance, the production and the program was really coool.
The place was raining with LFD's (Large Format Displays), I was in total awe. It looked really futuristic and the AVP's were made to impress. Duhh, it's a product launching, it should be impressive. Everything was just grand.
The hors d'oeuvres (tama ba spelling/?) were so so but the dinner was great. There were a lot of things to choose from but I didn't eat that much because having eaten heavy meals before the event even started and having eaten too many hors d'oeuvres (and yet I was complaining it wasn't too good haha) while watching the show, I was already full. Having another dinner (sort of) is pushing it. But I ate anyway. I'm quite indulgent. I can't help it. And of course there was a large chocolate fountain, which made my night aside from other things. Haha.
And did I mention we had overflowing drinks? And I don't mean bottomless iced tea or juice. Drinks as in beer, wine, champagne, scotch/whisky/the likes, cocktails, bailey's, rhum, vodka and so one. I can't say I had too many, but I did try different mixes. I had Tequilla Sunrise (thank God for Grenadine), Mudslide (or was it just Bailey's), and Margarita (just cause they ran out of drinks to mix) and finally to end the night, I had two wineglasses full of red wine. I was tipsy then. It bothered me that the wine had more impact on me than the cocktails.
It was great.
And thank God I wasn't the only camwhore there. Yesss!!! People brought their own cams as well. But I had to tone it down a bit (and I kind of did) just to mellow things down on my side. There were execs there, lots of them. Haha.
Oh, I failed to mention what the event was all about.
