Christmas day has come and gone but the season is yet to be over. And once we've hit the 25th day of December, theaters are being flooded by Filipino movies as well as moviegoers. Once again, we celebrate the Metro Manila Film Festival, now on its 34th year.
Metro Manila Film Festival is an annual movie awards much like Hollywood's Oscars which recognizes the best efforts of local artists and movie makers. Different awards are given to different movie categories like Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Picture and many more, and this year, eight (8) wonderfully crafted movies are vying for the trophy.
